Asian Rail Outlook – Opportunities in Rail Investment and Development and Advances in Rail Technology
IRSE President John Francis presented an excellent paper, "Train Separation, Block working and Route Holding", and his presidential address, entitled "Time Zero".
The IRSE (Singaporean Section) AGM was held on Friday 15th September 2006 and was followed by an excellent technical visit to the Kim Chuan Depot courtesy of the Singapore Land Transport Authority. More to come soon.
Tom Godfrey presented an excellent draft paper, "Resignalling London's Jubilee, Northern & Piccadilly Lines", in Singapore as a 'test run' for its debut in London later in the year. There was a good turn out and thanks to Toh Kim Toon for the bulk of the organising!
